Developer, and designer living in Nova Scotia, Canada. The Delicious Brains team more than doubled in size, revenue nearly doubled, and we started selling a second product. I had a great year personally playing ultimate, tennis, and traveling to Mexico. Wow, look at that, I only published one lonely article here in 2015 and it was my year in review. But hey, I did write 13 posts on the Delicious Brains blog.
The WordPress economy is maturing now and we are starting to see more acuisitions, mergers and sale of whole line of products and brands. DevPress and Themelab got sold out recently. Press75 tried selling unsuccessfully through Flippa. The interesting part is none of the guys are selling them at the peak of their business unlike how software companies do. The future might see more such ventures. Some tips for better freelancing from my experience.
